Another Core Ultra CPU spotted
Intel preparing its Meteor Lake CPU series to launch in the coming months.
The newly discovered Core Ultra 7 1002H is not the first Meteor Lake mobile chip to surface. The formerly found SKU called Core Ultra 7 1003H quickly sparked a debate about eventual Intel Core CPU rebranding. The company confirmed that there is indeed a name change planned for the next mobile series.
According to the boot log spotted by IntalLatX64, the new SKU offers the same CPU configuration as the 1003H. The processor has 6 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores and 2 cores located in the SoC die (which is a new feature for Meteor Lake series). It is the latter that pushes the configuration up to 16 cores and 22 threads.

It is mentioned that the base clock is the same at 3.0 GHz, which around 100 MHz lower than the engineering sample being used at Computex last week with TDP of 28W (which means it could be a P-variant).
According to Intel, the Meteor Lake CPU series will be released in the next half of 2023. Intel has an Innovation event planned for September, which is where one should expect updates on 14th Gen mobile and desktop CPU series among other things.
