AMD announces Ryzen Threadripper 3990X for 3990 USD

A few months after first leaks about 64-core Threadripper AMD finally confirmed that the part will hard launch on February 7th. This processor will cost 3950 USD.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X is a 64-core and 128-thread processor for the TRX40 platform. It has a base clock of 2.9 GHz and Max Turbo of 4.3 GHz.

According to AMD, the 3990X scores around 25000 points in Cinebench R20 benchmark.
