AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2000 series will be available in stores on August 13th.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX for 1,799 USD

Like we said a few days ago, the only Threadripper 2000 SKU to be available on August 13th, will be the 2990WX model. This flagship processor features 32-cores and 64-threads. The base clock is 3.0 GHz and boost clock is 4.2 GHz (Newegg listing is incorrect). Keep in mind this processor requires 250W of power, so a high-quality power supply is a must. You may also want to wait for new X399 motherboards designed with TR 2000 in mind.
