AMD & Bethesda partner up for a new game bundle
AMD is giving away a copy of Starfield with purchases of Ryzen and Radeon hardware.
The rumors were true, AMD is set to include Starfield free of charge to select Ryzen 7000/5000 and Radeon 7000/6000 purchases. AMD has recently announced its collaboration with Bethesda for the sci-fi RPG Starfield, which features many AMD technologies, such as FidelityFX Super Resolution 2 (FSR 2), on day one. To celebrate the partnership, AMD is preparing a new gaming bundle for some of its Ryzen and Radeon products.
The promotion covers all Ryzen 7000 SKUs, spanning from the entry-level Ryzen 5 7600 to the flagship Ryzen 9 7950X3D, which are based on the Zen 4 architecture and offer some of the best performance for gaming. The promotion also includes some Radeon RX 7000-series graphics cards, which are powered by the RDNA 3 architecture and support ray tracing and variable rate shading.
More importantly, this promo also includes nearly all Radeon RX 6000 GPUs, with an exception to RX 6500/6400 series. AMD has divided the promotion into two tiers, either for the Premium or Standard Edition:
The promotion is not limited to separate purchases of Radeon GPUs and Ryzen CPUs, but also full systems featuring a combination of the following hardware:
As shown, the bundle covers a range of products, including the Cezanne-based Ryzen 7 5700G APU, the Rembrandt-based Ryzen 7 7735HS, and the mobile Radeon RX 7600/7700 SKUs. But it doesn’t include Ryzen 5000 non-G CPUs based on Zen3 architecture.
The promotion is valid from today and will continue until the end of September, and users have until October 28, 2023, to claim their codes for the games.
AMD/Starfield bundle redemption process
- Purchase an eligible AMD Ryzen™processor to receive an AMD RYZEN TOKEN CODE from participating retailer or e-tailer.
Purchase an eligible AMD Radeon™graphics card to receive an AMD RADEON TOKEN CODE from participating retailer or e-tailer.
Purchase an eligible AMD-powered system to receive an AMD A+A TOKEN CODE from participating retailer or e-tailer. - Make sure the eligible product is installed into the computer from which the redemption is being made.
- Login or set up your www.AMDRewards.com profile.
- Enter the AMD Token Code(s). Token Code is required to verify installation of the qualifying product with the Product Verification Tool (PVT). The PVT will prompt you to download a file onto your computer. Accepting all terms of the PVT will allow it to run and verify the product.
- Select the Game(s) you wish to redeem by adding to your cart and confirm your selections.
- Activate your Game(s) by following the onscreen instructions. You may need to click on the Activation link. You may be prompted to enter your Steam game platform account information to complete checkout. You may need to sign up for an account.
