The first rumors about AMD Ryzen 3000 XT series specifications are beginning to surface.

AMD Ryzen 3900 XT with boost up to 4.8 GHz

The alleged clock speeds have been published on Chiphell forums. AMD Ryzen XT series would see a 200-300 MHz boost over existing series according to the rumor. No changes to the core count are to be expected, although this part is not yet confirmed.

If the rumor is true then Ryzen 9 3900XT would see a boost clock of 4.8 GHz, which is an increase of 200 MHz over the 3900X model. More importantly, though, the base clock would be also be modified to 4.1 GHz and that is a 300 MHz faster than the existing model.

AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT would also see the same changes for base and boost clock (200 and 300 MHz respectively).

On the other hand, the Ryzen 3 3600XT would have these values reversed. The base clock would be 200 MHz faster than the “X” model, while the boost clock would ‘only’ increase by 200 MHz.

AMD Ryzen 3000 XT series (aka Matisse 2 or Matisse Refresh) is expected to be announced on June 16th. AMD is planning to sell new processors on July 7th, previous rumors suggest.

AMD Ryzen 3000XT series is a refresh of the existing stack. The new processors were first confirmed by Gigabyte through the B550 motherboards press deck. Initially the series was expected to carry new names such as Ryzen 7 3850X, but it was later confirmed that processors will use XT moniker instead.
