AMD Ryzen 7000 get significant price cuts on official webstore
AMD has now implemented the same prices for its Zen4 desktop CPUs as Newegg and Amazon on their own official US webstore.
The company has now followed other big retailers who were the first to offer desktop Ryzen 7000 series at significantly lower prices. The discount applies to all four Ryzen 7000 SKUs that were released less than two months ago.
What is interesting about AMD’s own offer is that the discount is shown as “New Low Price”, although the product store also mentions “Pre-Black Friday Deals”. Still, instead of saying “Lower Price” consumers are told these are new prices. Therefore, we might assume that this is a permanent price cut on Ryzen 7000 series.

AMD has discounted Zen4 desktop CPUs by up to $125 (7950X). This is a massive discount for AMD’s latest processor series, usually not seen this early after a product is launched. However, AMD is struggling to sell the inventory mainly due to the very high prices of AMD AM5 motherboards, which are required for Ryzen 7000.

All four processors appear to be in stock at all retailers that we checked. It appears that AMD is trying to push the inventory before Intel drops its 13th Gen Core non-K series in January. However, AMD is also said to introduce as many as three new non-X processors next year. One thing is clear, the more CPUs are available the harder it will be to sell the premium models.
Update: PCGamesHardware claims that Ryzen 7000 price cuts are only for the Black Friday Week sales. Therefore, those are time-limited offers.
