AMD Ryzen 7000X3D price cuts return
In recent weeks, AMD has displayed a degree of reluctance in reducing the prices of their Ryzen 7000 CPU series. Nevertheless, retailers hold a differing perspective and have recently implemented price adjustments for at least two of the latest 7000X3D series.
The pricing of the upper-tier Ryzen 9 7000 series has exhibited a relatively slow response to market realities, with the flagship 16-core CPUs still comfortably positioned at $699 or $599 (for the X3D and X series respectively). However, there has finally been some movement within the high-end segment.
The Ryzen 9 7900X3D is now available at $470, while the most sought-after gaming component for the AM5 platform, the 7800X3D, can be obtained for $381. Additionally, the Ryzen 7 7700X3D has experienced a price drop to $276. Notably, all three of these offerings are bundled with a complimentary copy of the Starfield game.

AMD Ryzen 7000 series are not the only parts getting a discount. Over at B&H one can find three Ryzen 5000 SKUs at lower price, with 5800X3D leading the pack at $270 price, which is at least $50 lower than any other major US store.
AMD Ryzen 5000 deals:
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D: $269.99 (Amazon)
- AMD Ryzen 9 5900X: $327.49 (B&H)

Gamers unquestionably have the X3D series as their prime focus. Nevertheless, individuals with financial constraints who aren’t necessarily aiming for the highest framerate might consider turning their attention towards the Ryzen X-series. It’s still refreshing to observe certain components receiving price cuts after a somewhat uneventful month that followed the initial discounts in early July.
