AMD is gradually coming to terms with the impending challenges it will soon face. In under a month, Intel is set to introduce a fresh batch of high-end K-series CPUs as part of the 14th Gen Core lineup, intensifying the competition for AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs.
Nonetheless, AMD is well-prepared for the situation. The company has unveiled two CPU series based on Zen4 architecture, one with 3D V-Cache and another without it. For gamers who’ve chosen AMD as their platform of choice, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU with 8 cores stands out as AMD’s top gaming CPU.
The price of this CPU has recently dropped below $385 after three weeks. This promotional offer seems to be coordinated with major U.S. retailers, with both Amazon and Newegg adopting the same pricing strategy, albeit the latter requires the use of a $15 discount code.
AMD Ryzen 7000 deals (all CPUs come with Starfield)

Regrettably, the 16-core model has seen little movement in its pricing, as it still remains above $600, despite having been priced lower in the past. However, it’s reasonable to anticipate some adjustments when Intel launches its Core i9-14900K processor, which is expected to compete in a similar price range. Meanwhile, the 12-core Ryzen 9 7900X3D is struggling to maintain its $599 MSRP, which is only a few months old, and it appears unlikely to return to this price point.
