The upcoming Ryzen 3000 XT series are again, starting to show up in leaked benchmarks.
AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT
Last week has been relatively quiet when it comes to the Ryzen 3000 XT series – the refresh of the existing Matisse (Zen2) lineup. The Ryzen 9 3900XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT, and Ryzen 5 3600XT are all expected to be announced next week, or so the rumors have been suggesting.
The Ryzen 7 3800XT has been tested with Ashes of the Singularity benchmark and the entry was spotted by @_rogame. The CPU is listed with 8 cores and 16 threads and was paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080. The sample was tested 2 days ago.
The AotS database does not list the clock speeds for its entries, thus we will refrain from comparing this result to others.
The XT variants of the Ryzen CPUs will have 200-300 MHz higher clocks compared to the existing models. Consider it a pit stop for the Ryzen series as we await Ryzen 4000 Vermeer series. According to previous information, existing X570 and upcoming B550 motherboards will fully support the new processors.
