It appears that a known leaker Japanese Momomo gained access to an unreleased AMD product datasheet featuring AMD Ryzen 5000G series before the manufacturer even had a chance to officially introduce the series.

The datasheet posted by Momomo might have originated at HP, at least the font used in the document suggests so. This file lists three processor families, all part of the Ryzen 5000G series. AMD released its Ryzen 5000 U and H series back in January, both based on the new Cezanne silicon. The manufacturer made no promises or announcements in regard to a desktop variant known as the G series though.

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G appears to the flagship SKU in the series with 8-cores and 16-threads. This processor would feature a 3.8 GHz base clock and up to a 4.6 GHz boost clock. AMD Ryzen 5 5600G is a 6-core and 12-thread SKU with a base clock of 3.9 GHz and turbo up to 4.4 GHz. The 4-core and 8-thread part known as Ryzen 3 5300G would offer a base clock of 4.0 GHz and boost up to 4.2 GHz.

That said, all frequencies have been increased by 200 MHz compared to Ryzen 4000G “Renoir” series. What remains to be confirmed are integrated GPU clock speeds as well as graphics core count.

More importantly, though, we are still waiting for confirmation whether Ryzen 5000G series will be available to the DIY market. AMD has made a huge mistake by not releasing its 4000G series through conventional retail channels. As a result, Ryzen 4000G has only been available through the grey market from OEMs and system integrators, the only companies that were allowed to buy Ryzen 4000G CPUs from AMD. Meanwhile, many enthusiasts are waiting for high-end desktop APUs to be launched for the DIY market. Those APUs would make a great alternative or a stop-gap before discrete GPU pricing gets back to normal.
