Another leaker confirms Radeon RX 7000 naming.

Hardware leaker “chi11eddog” who has shared confidential information before, corroborates on the RX 7000 naming leaks by sharing two product stickers with partially hidden names.

The leaker suspiciously hid ‘RX 7900’ from the leak, possibly to avoid revealing the source (this could be a product name such as GV-R790XTX which would automatically confirm it is from Gigabyte).

What this leak confirms is that the RX 7900XT comes with 20GB VRAM, while RX 7900XTX gets 24GB of memory capacity. Both models are to feature AMD’s new Navi 31 GPU based on 5nm RDNA3 architecture.

If previous rumors are to be believed, the RX 7900XTX might feature full GPU with 12288 Stream Processors, 384-bit memory bus attached to 24GB GDDR6 memory running at 20 Gbps. This means that the potential card will be just 40 GB/s shy from reaching 1 TB/s of bandwidth. However, previous leaks also confirmed that Navi 31 comes with up to 96MB of Infinity Cache, so the effective bandwidth will be much higher.

The RX 7900XT is supposedly based on a cut-down Navi 31 GPU with 10752 cores. This model would be outfitted with 20GB of GDDR6 memory across a 320-bit bus with the maximum bandwidth of 800 GB/s.

Clocks, performance, and pricing are still a big unknown, but all those details should be confirmed by AMD on Thursday, with the official introduction of desktop RDNA3 architecture.
