Biostar’s AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT is now $40 cheaper
First Radeon RX 7900 drops to $859 at Newegg.
Biostar is now selling their reference Radeon RX 7900 XT model at lower price. The card has been discounted to $859. This is the first price cut for this model which goes below AMD’s suggested retail price, which is $899.
At this price, RX 7900XT will pose an even greater threat to RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti graphics cards, cards this AMD is competing with. Furthermore, AMD card offers more memory and for those who really need it, it comes with USB Type-C display connector. AMD’s card also does not require any 16-pin power adapters, as it relies on standard power connectors.

The Radeon RX 7900 XT had its debut in December, but since launch there was no supply issue for this model. Unlike the XTX model which is not available at MSRP right now, the reference design for 7900XT had no vapor chamber issues. That said, it doesn’t really matter if the card is sold by Biostar or other company, it is still the same MBA (Made by AMD) design.
NVIDIA’s cheapest RTX 4080 still costs $1,199, which is now $340 more than RX 7900 XT. The RTX is indeed faster, but that’s nearly 40% price difference. This RX 7900 XT is definitely worth considering now.
