AMD RX 7900 GRE system costs €250 less than similarly specced 7900 XT gaming PC
AMD has one exclusive partner for the Radeon RX 7900 GRE launch in Germany.
The latest RDNA3 desktop GPU is making its way to Europe. “Memory PC,” a system integrator in Germany, is now offering two systems equipped with the Radeon RX 7900 GRE graphics card. This model was officially unveiled at ChinaJoy yesterday.
Contrary to earlier rumors, the RX 7900 GRE (Golden Rabbit Edition) will not be exclusive to China. While this card will still only be available to the DIY market in China, gamers in other countries will have the option to purchase these models through system integrators.
The first system to show up in Europe comes with a Ryzen 7 5700X Zen3 CPU on a B550 motherboard, along with 16GB of DDR4 memory. The second system, which costs much more, features an upgrade to an Intel Core i9-12900K CPU on a Z790 motherboard, paired with 32GB of DDR5 memory. Both platforms are not the latest, and it would have been even better if the first system came with the newly-released Ryzen 5 7500F.

Comparing the pricing, the 5700X/7900GRE combination is available for €1149, while the 12900K/7900GRE configuration is priced at €1849. Currently, a similarly specced system with the same CPU, memory, and motherboard but featuring the RX 7900 XT retails at €2099. Therefore, opting for the GRE edition will save you €250.
