AMD RX 7600 at $229, comes with $69 Starfield coupon

AMD Radeon RX 7600 gets a price correction, but only by one US retailer.

With the imminent release of the Radeon RX 7700 XT and RX 7800 XT models, gamers will soon have fresh alternatives to consider, though neither falls within the budget category. AMD has made it clear that there won’t be any major releases in the RDNA3 family moving forward, as all remaining GPUs were already unveiled last week, specifically the Navi 32.

That being said, AMD is leaving a substantial gap between its RX 7700 XT and RX 7600 models, raising questions about potential RX 7700/7600 XT SKUs. In fact, the gap between Navi 32 and 33 is growing so wide that the RX 7700 XT may soon cost twice as much as the RX 7600.

MicroCenter has recently reduced the price of the RX 7600 GPU to $229. It’s worth noting that this model was introduced just in May at $269 but has been undergoing price adjustments since then. Most U.S. retailers offer this model for upwards of $260, but MicroCenter is currently running a new promotion exclusively for in-store purchases, providing a $40 discount. What makes this offer even more enticing is that it still includes a Starfield game coupon valued at $69.

However, it’s important to note that this offer is limited to in-store pickup, which restricts its availability. Nevertheless, it serves as an example of how affordable this graphics card can become if other retailers follow suit. At present, only Intel Arc GPUs are targeting the $200-$250 price segment with their Arc A750/770 models, while NVIDIA appears to be focusing on the $300 price range with their least expensive ADA RTX 4060 non-Ti model, which has remained unaffected by price adjustments.
