AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT vs GeForce RTX 3070

Lenovo product manager of Gaming Desktops today posted three photos of the upcoming Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card on a Chinese social platform. The graphics card has been compared with the OEM dual-fan version of the GeForce RTX 3070 model, which is used by Lenovo for their prebuilt systems.

Interestingly, the Radeon RX 6800 graphics card used for this quick photo session is actually the same card we that we just saw yesterday. Thus, it is very likely that the black version of RX 6800 XT has been designed for Lenovo for their gaming systems. After all, all these cards are made by Sapphire, our sources claim, so it was just a simple modification to the color scheme used by the reference model.

AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT is a Navi 21 GPU based graphics card that will be released in 10 days (November 18th). The graphics card features 4608 Stream Processors and 16 GB of GDDR6 memory.

AMD Radeon RX 6800XT is a 2.5 slot-design and requires dual 8-pin power cables to be attached. The semi-custom GeForce RTX 3070 by Lenovo only uses one 8-pin power connector, but the card is just as thick as the Radeon:

The product manager also published photos of the Lenovo gaming system with Radeon RX 6800 XT already preinstalled. It appears that the only part that will lit up is the Radeon logo:
