AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT spotted in the wild
Photos of the Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card have briefly surfaced on Chinese forums.
The graphics card appears to be quite similar to the already leaked Navi 23 XT engineering sample manufactured by PC Partner. A photo of such a graphics card had already surfaced back in May. This new leak, however, shows a slightly different design.

The graphics card features a dual-fan cooling solution installed over a large aluminum heatsink. A lack of a large fin array indicates that we are looking at a budget-oriented model.

AMD already launched as many as three graphics cards based on this GPU, however, so far none of them was a desktop gaming card. AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT is a mid-ranger based on Navi 23 GPU with 2048 Stream Processors. This SKU is expected to feature 8GB of GDDR6 memory and a 128-bit memory bus. This memory size is confirmed by the label above.

Yesterday it was revealed that a possible launch date of the RX 6600 XT and RX 6600 graphics card is August 11th. This means that the announcement may happen already in July, a week sooner to be exact on July 29th. However, neither of these dates were confirmed by AMD thus far.
Along with the new photos, a benchmark result has leaked. Those screenshots show the performance of the RX 6600 XT in a benchmark called Ludashi, not very commonly used outside China. What is important though is that the graphics card offers performance higher than some GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards, in fact, Ludashi’s built-in ranking even shows it beating the recently launched RTX 3070 Ti.
