AMD launches Radeon RX 6600 XT at 379USD
The mid-range GPU segment gets a new graphics card.
Today AMD launches its Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card, the first desktop gaming model based on Navi 23 GPU. This card is equipped with 2048 Stream Processors and 8GB GDDR6 memory. It is targeted at 1080p gaming with its limited memory bus (128-bit) and PCIe interface (4.0 x8).
AMD had decided to limit this launch to AIB cards only, which means that RX 6600 XT will only be released by board partners and no reference design will be available for purchase.
It is reported that AMD prepared a large stock of RX 6600 XT cards for launch and retailers should be offering the card at MSRP for much longer than we used to see with other RX 6000 card launches.
The Radeon RX 6600 XT has an MSRP of 379 USD, which is just 100 USD cheaper than RX 6700 XT. You can find many detailed reviews of this card in our full roundup.
