Radeon PRO W7600 and W7500 mainstream GPUs professionals
AMD is gearing up to launch not one but two graphics cards for professionals.
Professionals anticipating a more affordable Radeon PRO series will soon have the option to choose between two models, the W7600 and W7500, which are scheduled to be launched this month. Both models come with 8GB GDDR6 memory and utilize the Navi 33 GPU.
Details about the two models are still limited, but it is already known that the W7600 will feature a full Navi 33 GPU, while the W7500 is expected to be a slightly scaled-down version. Both models are designed to fit into a single slot and come with four DisplayPort 2.1 connectors. Minor differences exist in the cooling design, with the W7600 employing a slightly larger cooler, but both models maintain the one-slot design.
Though official Total Graphics Power (TGP) figures are yet to be confirmed, it is certain that W7600 models will use a single 6-pin power connector, making it the first desktop cards to utilize this type of connector (RX 7600 uses a single 8-pin). This suggests that the TGP will not exceed 150W (75W from PCIe and 75W from the power cable), but there are expectations that the TGP will be even lower.
Based on our information, the W7600/7500 duo is expected to be launched this month, with the possibility of being unveiled at SIGGRAPH, which is set to commence next week.
