AMD launches Radeon RX 6900 Liquid Cooled with even more performance

AMD has unveiled its flagship GPU from Radeon RX 6000 series, the RX 6900 XT LC.

A hybrid cooling solution attached to an external 120mm radiator with a single fan are not the only changes in comparison to the vanilla RX 6900 XT model. The RX 6900 XT Liquid Cooled SKU features higher clock speeds as well as increased TBP to 330W. Those changes alone will provide a noticeable performance uplift to Navi 21 GPUs. What is also striking to learn is that this model will have faster memory, up to 18 Gbps. This will increase the maximum bandwidth to 576 GB/s.

The Radeon RX 6900 XT LC has a game clock of 2250 MHz and a boost clock of 2435 MHz, this is respectively 235 MHz and 185 MHz higher than the air-cooled variant. There are otherwise no changes to the specifications, the graphics card is still based on Navi 21 XT GPU, although an updated one to XTXH variant.
