AMD rumored to release a low-end Radeon RX 6300 GPU
According to the new rumor, AMD could launch a third desktop Navi 24 graphics card very soon.
The rumor surfaced yesterday after Komachi Ensaka noticed AMD is preparing a new model, according to the changes introduced to AMD software. This is rumored to be a third Navi 24 desktop GPU, following RX 6500XT and RX 6400, the latter is soon to be released for DIY market after its quiet launch for OEMs in January.
As revealed by AMD themselves, the GPU Performance API already supports a new RX 6300 SKU in the latest 3.10 version. This is the first indirect confirmation that such a desktop part is actually being prepared. The changelog specifically mentions RX 6300 and not RX 6300M, which is already available for laptops.

The Radeon RX 6300 is almost certainly going to occupy the lowest tier in the whole RDNA2 lineup. This part is likely to feature reduced memory size to 2GB, which is the current configuration used by its mobile counterpart (RX 6300M).
AMD might also consider lowering the Stream Processor count, but this would make an already slow GPU even slower, to the point where one might consider APUs or CPUs with integrated GPUs instead.
