AMD Germany mistakenly lists an unreleased graphics card

Radeon RX 7600 with XT can already be found on the AMD website, sort of.

It appears that there may have been a typo on the AMD Germany website, where the title “RX 7600 XT” was spotted on the RX 7600 non-XT product page. This seems to be a simple mistake during the translation process, although it is quite unusual.

Since the release of the entry-level RX 7600 graphics card, there have been discussions about the possibility of an “XT” variant. Given that the RX 7600 already features a full Navi 33 GPU, the logical (or maybe not?) choice for AMD would be to increase the memory capacity to 16 GB. This becomes even more relevant considering that NVIDIA is set to release a 16 GB version of the RTX 4060 Ti this month.

However, it’s important to note that a higher memory capacity would not significantly enhance the performance of this graphics card. It would primarily allow for smoother handling of VRAM-intensive titles, should that be the goal in the first place.

It is worth mentioning that AMD has only launched three Radeon 7000 graphics cards so far, which is somewhat underwhelming compared to NVIDIA’s six released models with one more on the way. AMD has released two RX 7900 cards and the RX 7600 just last month, but there is no sign of the Navi 32-based RX 7800/7700 series yet. This segment is often considered the sweet spot.
