AMD FSR 2.0 in Red Dead Redemption 2

No more mods required, FSR 2.0 officially in RDR2.

Exactly two months after RDR2 received a community mod to support FSR 2.0, the Rockstar Games have finally implemented AMD FSR2 technology themselves.

The FSR 2.0 comes to PC platform with the latest 1.31 update. The patch notes do not share any details on possible performance impact by using FSR, so that will be totally up to reviewers and gamers to test.

AMD FSR 2.0 was easy to implement into the game because it already supported other temporal upscaling technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS 2.0. This means that required building blocks such as motion vectors were already implemented.

The patch for FSR and many other changes is reportedly 433MB large, and it is now available on Steam.
