AMD is expected to announce the Ryzen 4000G series next month.
AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G?
According to Igor Wallossek, AMD is set to introduce Ryzen 4000G series without fanfare next month. A quiet launch of the Renoir AM4 APUs might also see different SKUs than previously expected. It is unclear if AMD is planning two separate launches for corporate and consumer markets and how limited the launch will be.
The past few days have been quite confusing for desktop Renoir news. Some outlets claim that the announcement is to be expected late July (HKEPC reports July 27th), while others claim that it should happen on July 7th.

AMD Renoir runs Crysis without cooling
The Renoir APU is still flexing its muscles, even in scenarios that the chip was not intended to be used.
It has been proved by the video below that AMD Ryzen 4000U series (Renoir-U) can be run without any cooler attached and still produce stable framerate in games such as original Crysis. For this demonstration Ryzen 3 4300U, a 15W variant of the mobile APU has been used. The chip had no active or passive cooling for a least 10 minutes.
For this test, a tool to limit the temperature of the chip was used. In Cinebench R15 synthetic benchmark the CPU scored 124 and 327 points in single-core and multi-core tests respectively.
