AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT to launch on March 17th at XXX USD
Today AMD has revealed its latest graphics card from the RDNA2 family, the Radeon RX 6700 XT.
AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT is here to tackle NVIDIA GA104 Ampere-based models. AMD officially revealed its graphics card today during the ‘Where Gaming Begins: Episode 3’ event, which was hosted by Scott Herkelman.
AMD confirmed that their graphics card will feature Navi 22 GPU with 40 Compute Units. It will have a base clock of 2321 MHz, a game clock of 2424 MHz, and a boost clock of 2581 MHz. This means that the graphics card will offer a maximum single-precision compute performance of 13.2 TLFOPS.
The graphics card features 160 Texture Mapping Units, 64 ROPs, and 40 Ray Accelerators for raytracing hardware acceleration. With 12GB GDDR5 192-bit memory, the graphics card has 384 GB/s of maximum bandwidth.
The graphics card is equipped with a high-quality PCB with an 8-pin and 6-pin power connector. The official TDP is 230W, a bit more than previously speculated.

AMD revealed the first performance figures for the new graphics card. According to AMD, the RX 6700 XT will be able to compete with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti in 1440p gaming.
AMD confirmed Radeon RX 6700 XT will launch on March 18th at 479 USD. The launch will feature custom and reference models, which should theoretically increase availability.
