AMD has confirmed that next generation Ryzen Threadripper will feature 32-core SKU.

2nd Gen Ryzen Threadripper gets 32-cores

Upcoming Threadripper series will get more cores. All four dies will be enabled on Ryzen Threadripper based on 12nm architecture, which AMD promises to feature higher frequency and better power efficiency.

This comes only a day after Intel’s 28-core product announcement. This means both manufacturers will compete in the high-end desktop market with their server-grade hardware.
