At least two product listings have been spotted on Polish and Slovakian websites. Both product descriptions are misleading, claiming that the motherboards are equipped with LGA1700 socket, which is obviously not true. The A620 chipset is an AMD entry-level design, and it will support the AM5 socket also known as LGA-1718, which might explain the mistake.

The MSI motherboard that has just been spotted is a Micro-ATX form factor design. Nothing else, except that this board supports HDMI and VGA display connectors, is confirmed by either of the retailer descriptions. However, we do learn it will cost either 440 PLN (23% VAT) or 87.55 EUR (20% VAT). This means that once converted to US pricing we are looking at sub 100 USD MSRP.

One should be noted is that none of the stores have these motherboards in stock, but some new information that may suggest this should change very soon.

According to a rumor from DCinside, AMD A620 motherboards might be released next week. It is further added that they might support AMD AM5 CPUs up to 100W. The report confirms that there is no PCIe Gen5 support on with this chipset.

Furthermore, there are new EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) regulatory filings reveling the names of Gigabyte’s upcoming A620 motherboard series:

  • Gigabyte A620M GAMING X AX
  • Gigabyte A620M GAMING X
  • Gigabyte A620M C
