AMD Ryzen 7000 in September according to Alphacool

The cooling company confirms when Ryzen 7000 is launching.

Alphacool announced today all their CPU coolers and AIO solutions will be compatible with AM5 socket, the next-gen LGA socket for AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs codenamed Raphael. AMD is officially introducing new desktop CPUs later this month, but the company is yet to confirm the launch date.

Turns out, Alphacool is certain Ryzen 7000 is coming in September, but the exact date has not been mentioned in the just issued press release:

All CPU Cooler & AIOs are AM5 ready!

Just in time for the launch of the new AMD processors in September 2022, we can announce that all CPU coolers and All-in-One solutions in the Alphacool product range are compatible with AMD’s AM5 socket. The required mounting kit is included with all coolers and AIOs and enables the new Ryzen 7000 Series processors to be water-cooled with Alphacool products right from the start.

The AM5 socket retains the same size as AM4, ensuring that the vast majority of existing coolers will require no modifications to work with the new series. Some coolers may require special kits or may not fit the new socket at all, but for small water blocks such as Alphacool’s that shouldn’t be a problem.

According to the rumors, AMD is set to launch its Ryzen 7000 series on September 27th, after pushing the original launch date back by two weeks. The company is more than likely to confirm the availability date during August 29th livestreamed event.
