AFOX RTX 4070: New Fox in town
This is the second RTX 40 GPU released by AFOX thus far.
AFOX, a company primarily known for its regulatory filings for Radeon RX 5950 and RTX 5090, is now launching a genuine GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card. It’s worth noting that AFOX had previously released only one RTX 40 GPU model, the RTX 4090, featuring a blower-style cooler. However, these cards typically don’t align with NVIDIA’s official design guidelines, as the GPU vendor aims to phase out blower-style coolers from the RTX 40 series. Consequently, most of these cards are released under lesser-known OEM branding. AFOX stood as an exception because they presented their RTX 4090 on their official website.
Their website was recently updated with new RTX 4070 graphics card, just two days ago to be exact. Unlike the blower-style cooler of the RTX 4090, this card features a proper triple-fan design, in line with the majority of ADA-based models currently on the market. It’s a fresh design, distinct from any others we’re aware of, making it noteworthy.

The card boasts a dual-slot design complete with a full-cover aluminum backplate. In the middle, there’s a single 8-pin power connector, and it offers four display connectors: 3x DP and 1x HDMI. This card is based on the RTX 4070 SKU, featuring 5888 CUDA cores, 12GB of GDDR6X memory clocked at 21 Gbps, with the GPU itself maintaining standard clocks of 2.535 GHz.

The card labeled with the code “AF4070-12GD6XH4” has not yet appeared in any retailer listings. Therefore, one can guess that this is just a product announcement. It’s also worth highlighting that their RTX 4090 is similarly absent from the market, even though it was introduced several months ago. This suggests that AFOX GPUs are primarily intended for prebuilt systems and have minimal, if any, presence on online retail platforms.
