Acer needs a reality check
The company has just confirmed the official MSRP for its new Radeon RX 7600 graphics card for Spain.
In an official press release, the company has announced that the newest addition to the Predator GPU lineup, the Radeon RX 7600 Predator BiFrost GPU, will have an official MSRP of €399. This card marks Acer’s first venture into Radeon graphics cards. While one might have expected a limited edition of some sort given the significance of the occasion, the company has instead opted for the slowest Radeon RX 7000 model currently available.
Initially, the Radeon RX 7600 debuted in Europe with a price tag of €299. However, this price was quickly adjusted to reflect the market reality. Just a day later, the card could be found for as low as €259 in Spain. Surprisingly, this promotional price has remained in effect ever since. This raises concerns that the €399 price tag for the Predator model not only appears absurd but also suggests that it may indeed be the actual price.
The company has confirmed to Spanish media outlet El Chapuzas Informatico that the €399 price is intentional and not a mistake. This confirmation aligns with the official PR that was sent out earlier today.

With the cheapest RX 7600 priced at €259 in the Spanish market, gamers also have the option of choosing the Radeon RX 6700 XT, which costs €350. Alternatively, at €399, they can consider the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB model. Although it may not offer the best value, it would still provide a 20% to 40% performance boost depending on the resolution.
