Acer A770 with 16GB drops to $259

One of the most interesting Intel-based models now at a new price.

Acer’s Predator BiFrost was initially the sole custom model based on the Arc A770 SKU with a 16GB memory capacity. Following the official discontinuation of Intel’s Limited Edition, it remained the only model of its type in the market. Nevertheless, other companies have subsequently introduced similar models, albeit not always at the most competitive prices.

The A770 Predator has witnessed frequent price adjustments from various retailers. In recent months, we have observed the card’s price dropping to as low as $339 or $282. However, with the arrival of alternatives like the Arc A580 12GB, AMD’s RX 7800 XT, and NVIDIA’s RTX 4060 Ti 16GB, consumers now have more choices when it comes to GPUs with such memory capacity. Acer took notice, and it is now introducing a new price for this model now effective through two major US retailers. Acer has taken notice of this and is now rolling out a new price for their model, which is now in effect through two major US retailers.

Gamers seeking substantial memory capacity should take note of this deal. Arc Alchemist, while not the fastest in terms of gaming performance, excels in video encoding capabilities. This large VRAM can be effectively harnessed for a range of creative tasks, such as generative AI or high-resolution video editing.

Newegg currently offers the Acer A770 Predator BiFrost at a price of $259, marking the lowest cost ever for this particular model and the most budget-friendly A770 available. It boasts a full ACM-G10 GPU with 32 Xe-Cores and a generous 16GB of memory. Another Intel card that was recently discounted is the Sparkle’s A750 Orc design, which has a reduced price to $199.
