Acer Arc A770 Predator BiFrost GPU with 16GB VRAM drops to $339

Acer BiFrost GPU is now the most affordable 16GB GPU

Acer discounts its flagship Arc GPU.

One of the most eye-catching GPUs of 2022 was the Predator BiFrost from Acer.  The card uses both radial and axial fan design in a form that has not been used before: together. This unique hybrid design incorporates an open air and blower-type coolers under one dual-slot solution.

Card aesthetics were fundamental to the Acer design team, which is why they opted for a premium metallic-looking shroud, RGB illuminations and a full cover backplate. The specs were no less important, which is why this custom Arc A770 GPU is one of the few to incorporate 16GB VRAM.

Acer’s A770 GPU price has now been reduced on Amazon and Newegg to $339.99 on the same day. This suggests a preplanned discount and hopefully something that will remain active for more than a few days.

The card had a debuted in October last year and the price was quickly set to $399. We have already seen this model being discounted to $349 just last month, but the new $339 price is thus far the lowest. This is makes this A770 16GB GPU the cheapest one on sale, and possibly the most affordable 16GB card on the market.

Prices of Intel Arc Alchemist GPUs have been steadily going down with A750 8GB now going as low as $229 and A770 8GB at just $269. It looks like gamers on a budget should really look forward to seeing more of such deals in the future. Especially when NVIDIA and AMD launch their updated mid-range GPU series in the coming months.
