Provides the optimal gaming experience for Battlefield V Tides of War Chapter 1: Overture Update

NVIDIA:
On December 4th, EA and DICE will deploy the BattlefieldTM V: Tides of War Chapter 1: Overture update, bringing gamers a new single-player War Story called The Last Tiger, a new multiplayer map called Panzerstorm, a Practice Range for players to hone their skills on, and a number of other gameplay enhancements.

In addition, Chapter 1 also includes DXR Ray Tracing optimizations, improving performance up to 50%, enabling GeForce RTX gamers to enjoy Battlefield V’s immersive real-time ray-traced reflections at over 60 FPS.

Specifically, GeForce RTX 2080 Ti users will now be able to play at over 60 FPS at 2560×1440 with DXR Raytraced Reflections set to Ultra. GeForce RTX 2080 users will be able to play at over 60 FPS at 2560×1440 with Medium DXR Raytraced Reflections. And GeForce RTX 2070 users will be able to play at over 60 FPS at 1920×1080 with Medium DXR Raytraced Reflections.

  • [Microsoft Edge]: The browser does not respond after playing a video. [2451173]
  • [BenQ ZOWIE XL2730]: The display shows a black screen when the refresh rate is set to 144 Hz. [2400008]

Known Issues

  • [SLI][TITAN Xp]: SLI is disabled by default after installing the driver. [200471881]
  • [GeForce GTX 1080Ti]: Random DPC watchdog violation error when using multiple GPUs on motherboards with PLX chips. [2079538]
  • [Firefox]: Cursor shows brief corruption when hovering on certain links in Firefox.[2107201]
  • [G-Sync]: Random flickering occurs when connecting G-sync monitor + non-G-Sync HDMI monitor with G-Sync enabled. [2399845]
  • [TITAN V][NVIDIA Control Panel]: The Workstation->Manage GPU Utilization page appears when it shouldn’t. [200470813]
