NVIDIA introduces GeForce RTX 2060 price cut ahead of Radeon RX 5600 XT launch
Despite the fact that AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT is not even officially out yet, NVIDIA already responds with a price cut of its slowest RTX graphics card.
The GeForce RTX 2060 non-SUPER is a 6GB model featuring TU106 GPU. This is the Turing-based graphics processor with hardware ray-tracing support, something that Navi 10 unfortunately lacks. The RX 5600 XT will be no exception, as it also features Navi 10 silicon.
On the official Geforce website, NVIDIA has changed the price of Founders Edition to 299 USD, which is 50 USD less than at launch. In December GeForce RTX 2060 models were already available for as little as 320 USD. The new price will be a further reduction.
EVGA has already introduced much cheaper KO variants of RTX 2060 at CES 2020, with pricing for KO models going as low as 279 USD (but only for a limited time).
