NVIDIA announces GeForce RTX for laptops
Today NVIDIA unveiled GeForce RTX series for laptops. More than 40 laptop models are expected to be available starting from January 29th. The new mobile graphics solutions will also be available in Max-Q design, at least 17 slim designs are planned.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX mobile series will retain GPU configurations from desktop variants, the difference, however, can clearly be seen in limited frequencies and thus lower TDPs.
The rumors about even more reduced core count for RTX 2060 Mobile were untrue. It will in fact feature 1920 CUDA cores, just like its desktop counterpart.
