Second generation Ryzen is here. Let’s look at the results from reviewers around the world.

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X: a new flagship

It seems AMD decided to leave 2800X SKU for later, or maybe not launch it at all (who knows really). The Ryzen 7 2700X is a new the flagship, outperforming last-gen Ryzen 7 1800X (which by the way, was much more expensive) in almost everything.

Higher clocks, lower memory latency and support of all AM4 motherboards make this launch much more polished than the last one.

The 8-core treatment from AMD has not been answered by Intel yet, but their 6-core counterparts are still doing fine. The lineup features four SKUs, with prices spanning between 199 and 329 USD.
