ACER Predator Helios 500 with Core i9-8950HK pictured

A Polish retailer has listed an upcoming Acer Predator Helios 500 gaming notebook, featuring Intel’s first and only Core i9 processor based on Coffee Lake-H architecture.

This notebook comes in few variants, featuring Core i7-8750H to Core i9-8950HK processing unit. It’s a 17.3-inch notebook with 1080p 144 Hz IPS display. Configurations listed by retailer only included GeForce GTX 1070 graphics. The Helios 500 is equipped with 16GB of DDR4 memory and 256GB M.2 SSD.

In terms of pricing, the Core i9-8950HK version was listed at 11999 PLN, which is around 3500 USD. The cheaper variant with 8750H costs only 8999 PLN (2630 USD).

Intel’s Coffee Lake H series, featuring first 6-core gaming processors are set to be unveiled next week, and so are new notebooks.
