Intel announces Xeon-D 2100 series processors

Intel’s fastest low-power edge processor

Today Intel launches new Xeon-D family with integrated Intel Mesh technology. All CPUs will boost up to 3.0 GHz in single-threaded applications, but the highest turbo for all cores is 2.8 GHz. The base clock spans from 1.6 up to 2.2 GHz.

The highest-end SKU is called D-2191 and it features 18-cores with TDP as low as 86W. This processor will cost 2407 USD.

The D2100 series are divided into three groups: Edge Servers, Network Edge and Intel Quick Assist supported SKUs.
