ASRock confirms Coffee Lake-S on 1151 socket

Oops! ASRock confirms LGA 1151 socket for the upcoming Coffee Lake-S series. The new SKUs are listed at the very end of the long list of processors based on ‘the same’ socket. Few weeks ago ASRock also confirmed that new CPUs will require new motherboards to work (300-series).

I don’t think the information will get any more official than this. The list includes all known SKUs that we have been talking about for the past few weeks. The flagship i7-8700K CPU is confirmed to have a clock speed of 3.7 GHz, 12 MB cache and 95W TDP.
