On July 25th AMD will host Meet the Experts webinar with representatives from ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, and ASRock, who will provide detailed information on their upcoming X399 motherboards.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper X399 motherboards incoming

AMD’s first high-end desktop platform for Ryzen Threadripper is officially coming early August. It is believed that AMD will give us a new showcase of Threadripper’s performance at SIGGRAPH in just 10 days. Meanwhile, AMD partners are working hard to deliver X399 motherboards for the upcoming launch.

The X399 motherboards are likely to get similar features to Intel’s X299 motherboards. We might be seeing more PCIe and M.2 slots as Threadripper will support more PCIe lanes compared to Core-X series.

So far we have only seen four X399 motherboards from ASUS, ASRock and Gigabyte. MSI have not shown any motherboard yet.

AMD Meet the Experts:

On this month’s Meet the Experts, we will provide a deep dive on the new X399 motherboards built to support the new AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ Processors.

Guest speakers from Asus®, Gigabyte™, MSI®, and ASRock® will provide an in-depth look on the positioning, features and specifications of these new motherboards.
