Lisa Su confirmed that Vega product line will launch late July at SIGGRAPH in Los Angeles. There was no RX Vega showcase today, so we still don’t know how the new card really looks like, but at least the wait for more information is over. Radeon RX Vega will launch in 2 months. It’s official, it’s late, but at least we have solid information.

AMD Radeon Vega Frontier Edition June 27th

At the same event, AMD confirmed that Frontier Edition will be available on June 27th. This is the flagship Radeon Pro card aimed at content creators.

Following the announcement that the first graphics card based on the “Vega” architecture will be the Radeon™ Vega Frontier Edition, a premier solution for both machine learning and advanced visualization, AMD announced that this powerful new graphics card is expected to arrive on shelf on June 27th, 2017. In addition, AMD showcased the highly-anticipated Radeon™ RX Vega graphics card, asserting that the “Vega” architecture based gaming powerhouse is expected to launch at SIGGRAPH 2017, the world’s largest and most influential conference for computer graphics and interactive techniques, hosted in Los Angeles, California.

AMD demoed Threadripper CPU with four Frontier Editions to create a 3D render. They also demoed a pair of Radeon RX Vegas in Prey.
