NVIDIA to release Game Ready driver optimized for DirectX12

NVIDIA will soon release a new driver designed specifically with DirectX12 optimizations in mind.

NVIDIA GameReady Driver for DirectX12 games

The new driver will increase performance by up to 16% on average. The games that were optimized with the new driver are as follows: Ashes of the Singularity, Gears of War 4, Hitman, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Tom Clancy’s The Division.

NVIDIA has not confirmed when this new DX12 driver will be available, but a good guess would be close to 1080 Ti launch.

Game Ready Driver Optimized for DX12
NVIDIA also revealed an upcoming Game Ready Driver optimized for DirectX 12 games. The company refined code in the driver and worked side by side with game developers to deliver performance increases of up to 16 percent on average across a variety of DirectX 12 games, such as Ashes of the Singularity, Gears of War 4, Hitman, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Tom Clancy’s The Division.(1)
