AMD has just confirmed that the upcoming Radeon based on Vega architecture will be called Radeon RX Vega. That’s pretty much it.

AMD Radeon RX Vega

So it’s official. The new high-end GPU based on Vega architecture will be named Radeon RX Vega. This card will likely succeed Radeon R9 Fury series.

It’s unclear how Radeon RX Vega will affect the naming of other, more professional brands of Radeon Technologies Group, but Radeon RX Vega is clearly aiming at gamers and gamers only.

So the only question is, is Radeon RX Vega just one card? Is there RX Vega X?
