AMD VEGA GPU pictured, features two HBM2 stacks

Today AMD has showcased its VEGA GPU for the first time.

The GPU has two HBM2 stacks, each holding up to 8GB memory. This gives up to 16GB of total memory ‘cache’.

We estimate that the size of VEGA is between 520-540 mm2.
