ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 STRIX detailed

ASUS finally releases more information about its GTX 1060 STRIX series.

ASUS STRIX series will soon be updated with Pascal GP106 graphics cards, starting with GTX 1060 6GB. There are two STRIX model coming, one being overclocked (STRIX-GTX1060-O6G-GAMING) and other shipping with stock frequencies (STRIX-GTX1060-6G-GAMING).

Both cards use custom PCB with 6+1 phase design and single 8-pin power connector.

The factory-overclocked model has two modes, GAMING and OC. In OC mode it reaches 1645 MHz base frequency and 1873 MHz in boost mode.

GeForce GTX 1060 has 1280 CUDA cores and 6GB GDDR5 memory across 192-bit interface. NVIDIA is already planning 3GB model, which may feature less CUDA cores than 6GB model.
