Guys over at TweakTown had the opportunity to see the first custom GTX 1070 from EVGA.
EVGA GTX 1070 SC GAMING
The new card from EVGA is most likely based on reference PCB (with single 8-pin power connector), however the cooling solution is far from what ‘Founders’ have to offer. The dual-fan ACX 3.0 cooler has definitely been noticed by many graphics enthusiasts. Some like it, some don’t, but what matters here is how good this cooler really is when card is in gaming mode or under overclocking. The photos taken by TweakTown also confirm that GTX 1070 SC GAMING will be equipped with a backplate. We expect to hear more details as we get closer to official launch date (June 10th).
