I gathered all PCB pictures of main GeForce GTX 1080 competitors in one place. Some manufactures count all phases, some only VRM phases. I decided to use official count if possible.
ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1080 (8+2 phases)
ASUS officially confirms 8+2 phases. Card is powered by two power connectors (6-pin + 8-pin).

COLORFUL GTX 1080 iGame TOP (10 phases)
There are no official data for Colorful, but VRM has 10 phases. I will try to reach out to Colorful for confirmation. Card is powered by dual 8-pin power connectors.
EVGA GTX 1080 CLASSIFIED (14+3 phases)
Confirmed by EVGA website. Card is powered by two 8-pin power connectors.
EVGA GTX 1080 FTW (10+2 phases)
This picture is taken from EVGA website. Card has two 8-pin power connectors.
GALAX GTX 1080 HOF (11 phases)
It’s hard to find good pictures of GALAX HOF PCB, this one is good quality, but for some reason it has no GPU ;) Here’s another picture. Card is powered by two 8-pin power connectors.
Inno3D iChill GTX 1080 X3 / X4 (6+1 phases)
Like I said earlier, this is one of the most disappointing modifications so far. For such a large cooler we would expect something much more powerful under the hood.
MSI GTX 1080 GAMING X (10 phases)
MSI GAMING was one of the most popular GTX 980 models. Will GTX 1080 become just as popular? 10 VRM phases should be enough for most users looking into overclocking. Card is powered by 6-pin and 8-pin power connectors.
MSI GTX 1080 ARMOR (10 phases)
Surprise, surprise, ARMOR has the same PCB as GAMING, so if you’re looking for modified solution, but don’t need all the features GAMING TwinFrozr VI can offer, you should look at MSI ARMOR. Card is powered by 6-pin and 8-pin power connectors.
ZOTAC GTX 1080 PGF (16+3 phases)
Here’s our winner, ZOTAC PGF clearly has the most advanced power delivery circuit on the market. If only this card was available around the globe.. ZOTAC PGF is powered by two 8-pin power connectors.
