A new picture has just emerged at Chinese forums, allegedly showing the new cooler shroud for Pascal-based GeForce GTX 1080.

Today we have a continuation of our previous post describing two photographs allegedly showing GeForce GTX 1070 and GTX 1080.

What you’re looking at is supposedly the new finished look of GeForce GTX 1080 cooler shroud. It’s the same design we already saw with previous leak, although this one is painted, equipped with a fan and plastic cover for heatsink. I mean if someone went through all the trouble to design this just for laughs, I think he should be hired by NVIDIA.

The picture shows rather solid design, I can’t imagine this one is fake. Especially since we already confirmed that screws do not align with the previous NVTTM cooler, so this is not a custom mod for Maxwell card, it simply won’t fit.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 is believed to be equipped with Pascal GP104 GPU with at least 2560 CUDA cores. The processor will be accompanied by 8GB of GDDR5 memory, maybe even GDDR5X. Other aspects of GTX 1080 are quite a mystery, so I don’t think this post is where speculation should go.
