In case you still don’t believe all those rumored specifications of GTX 980 Ti, I have something that should convince you once and for all.
According to the datasheet, ASUS GTX 980 Ti (GTX980TI-6GD5) will sport 2816 CUDA cores, just like we were saying for few days.
The file also confirms that base clock is 1000 MHz and boost clock is 1076 MHz. Card also features 6GB GDDR5 memory across 384-bit interface.
ASUS explains all the graphics features of the new GPU and how awesome GPU Tweak is (actually I think it’s underrated).
While the packaging clearly states DirectX 12 support, the datasheet is not telling us a thing.
It does seem that my quest for TDP information shall not end yet. Also i was wondering how many cards of these cards can be used in SLI, the datasheet only says ‘multi-gpu’, thanks a lot ASUS, very informative indeed.
