ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti smile for camera

Today we will have a sneak peak at some GeForce GTX 980 Ti models.

What’s the common thing for all these cards? They are all reference models. Does it mean there are no custom models? Absolutely not. In fact I will post a list of all known GTX 980 Ti models very soon. I don’t know if custom models will be available at launch.

The reference sexiness

We have posted a few pictures of the reference GTX 980 Ti already. Here are the official renders each AIB will use for product marketing. The card looks pretty much exactly like GTX 980 cooling apart from new Ti-branding.

GeForce GTX 980 Ti has no backplate. It doesn’t mean there won’t be any backplates for 980 Ti, AIBs are already working on that.

Here you have a clear view on GTX 980 Ti display connectors: HDMI, DVI and three DisplayPorts.

I decided to put MSI in first paragraph, because it’s the only card to arrive in a new box. No one really knows why GTX 980 Ti has to be written on every side of the box. Can we please go back to nice 3D renders?

ASUS GeForce GTX 980 Ti

I’m pretty sure ASUS is being paid to advertise new Jurassic World movie.

Interestingly, Gigabyte actually has its own picture here.
