The rumor has it MSI liked our new site so much, they decided to launch a limited edition of GTX 970 GAMING in a packaging with our new colors.

Jokes aside, this really is the box of MSI GTX 970 GAMING Golden Edition. Well I’m not really sure why MSI chose orange, but it shouldn’t really matter to anyone.

We don’t really have any new details about this card as of yet, however we still wanted to share more pictures of this “interesting” graphics card.

So as you know, MSI team has been working on a new GTX 970, the limited edition of GAMING Golden Edition. The difference between the original GAMING and GAMING GE is not overwhelming. You are getting a cooler shroud in new colors, heat sink and heat pipes made totally out of copper and a fancy backplate with a dragon (any Game of Thrones fans here?).

The only part that really sticks out is the bracket, which is silver. The overall design is not really that bad, although I still prefer original GAMING model over this one.

I will update this post once I learn the specs.
